Hairy Pie were a strange and unfortunately short-lived act which came out of Brisbane, Australia. Their music - if it could be described as music - was a barrage of noise accompanied by a repetitive bass riff. The band got together in late 1990 and by 1991 they had their first release titled 'Pick the peanuts out of my shit'. The identities of the band members have remained shrouded in mystery as members wore balaclavas and dressed in an array of truly bizarre costumes including women's swimwear (with flippers), 1950's repulsive women's suits or just plain naked. The band played in serious band contests (managing to fool organizers by claiming that they were a Bon Jovi cover band) and often had their sound turned off mid-way through a performance. The band is rumored to have broken up due to not offending enough people, some have even claimed that a couple of the members went insane which is why the band split. This is a super rare release which you now have the unique opportunity to listen to. Don't miss it!
