93 Current 93 Present Sveinbjörn Beinteinsson ::: Edda
Sveinbjorn Beinteinson, founder and former high priest of Icelandic Asatru (a reconstruction of the pre-christian Norse religion) sings from the Eddas. Pure vocals. No instruments. Sung in the original Icelandic.
A re-creation of the way the Voluspa and Havamal were probably sung almost 1000 year ago.
This is a slightly truncated version of the European release available from Bad Taste. The European version being longer is a two CD set.
In addition to excerpts from Voluspa, Havamal, and Sigrdrifumal, Sveinbjorn sings some of his own poetry done in traditional alliterative style.
